2 keiki's growing - help please! :)
Default 2 keiki's growing - help please! :)

Hi!

I'm looking for some advice on repotting 2 keiki's and their mother.

The 2 keiki's need to be removed from the other plant as they are getting quite big, but I'm unsure as to whether the mother plant is dying or not and if I should pot them all together in the same pot....

See pics, the mother plants middle is very dry and a tiny bit black, it does have really good roots and leaves are OK - will it be OK to pot with keiki's?

Thanks in advance for the advice! 2 keiki's growing - help please! :)-img_5975-jpg

The mother plant suffered from crown rot (never let water sit in/on the leaves) and will likely die. Don't give up hope though, sometimes the plant will create a new apical meristem and grow a new plant from t)3 same root system.

Yes, definitely remove and pot up those keikies.

No, never put them in the same pot, because if you do, and ailment in one automatically becomes an ailment for the other(s).
