Oncidium Heaven Scent repot?

I was wondering if it's time to repot this plant. I was going to leave it for a while, since it looks like it still has room in the pot to grow, but I'm noticing new root tips now (and I know that's a good time to repot) and I see these other new roots growing out of the pot. Does that mean I need to repot it? Thanks!

If it is a recent purchase (hasn't been repotted since you have owned it) guaranteed it needs repotting. The medium breaks down over 2-3 years. Whether you can put it back into the same pot or if you need a (slightly) larger one will depend on the root mass. don't overpot - allow only 2 years' or so growth room. You can either use sphagnum, or small bark (which will need more frequent watering but will give it more air) depends on your watering practices. But fresh medium, for sure. And with new growth, now is a very good time to do it.

Thanks, Roberta! I've had it since March or so, so I haven't repotted it. I will do that later today or tomorrow then!
