The first pic is a mimi. It looked worse a few months ago. Some ppl told me she was dead but now she has new growth.

The second...roots look weird to me. Any suggestions on what could be wrong. The roots dont seem to be growing.

Can't tell a thing from the out-of-focus second photo, butnthe first looks OK. Water the daylights out of it.

The second photo is pretty out of focus, but from what I can tell, it looks fine. Lots of leaves and lots of roots - Vanda roots are unruly... Take Ray's advice and water both of them copiously - you can't overwater a bare-root Vanda - the "dry" part of the wet-dry cycle that it needs starts as soon as you stop the "wet" part.
