Phal with limp leaves

Six months ago I repotted 4 phals about 2 weeks after they finished with a bloom cycle. They looked good for two months and three of them are in bloom. However all but their latest leaves seem limp and not sturdy as before. I generally soak them about 5-10 minutes every 7 days. So I am wondering if I should be soaking them more often to combat dehydration or maybe there is a problem with the medium or what..sort of scratching my head wondering what is going on. Some of the roots look bright green and swollen and healthy but others appear dried up. Strange.

What do you have the potted in? Are the pots clear? If the pots are clear and you can see the roots water as soon as they turn silver. Watering frequency will depend on a lot of factors: how much the pot breaths, media composition and grade, temperature, humidity, etc.

There can also be some root death if you went from a media like sphagnum to bark. If this happened, plants may look a little wilty until new roots grow in. It’s important not to try to remedy this by overwatering. If you can’t see the roots, the skewer method in the sticky might be helpful in terms of gauging moisture.

Please post a pic. Sometimes what people think is dehydration is actually the plant doing something normal that the hobbyist didn't expect because of unfamiliarity with how they naturally grow if they were in the wild. It could be dehydration, but posting pictures can eliminate the guessing game.
