What do you have the potted in? Are the pots clear? If the pots are clear and you can see the roots water as soon as they turn silver. Watering frequency will depend on a lot of factors: how much the pot breaths, media composition and grade, temperature, humidity, etc.
There can also be some root death if you went from a media like sphagnum to bark. If this happened, plants may look a little wilty until new roots grow in. It’s important not to try to remedy this by overwatering. If you can’t see the roots, the skewer method in the sticky might be helpful in terms of gauging moisture.
