Spots on vanilla cutting - Orchid Board

Hi! Yesterday I've received a vanilla cutting. I'm a bit concerned about its condition as it has some damages that doesn't seem to be mechanical. Can you identify it for me?

Could be fungal damage from something as simple as water standing on the leaves.

The leaf with holes also looks like a snail or slug or caterpillar might have taken a bite or two out of it. That happens to plants...

It is a good idea to keep any new plant away from the rest of the collection, for a few days to a few weeks, just in general - observe it to be sure that whatever you see (or don't see immediately) isn't spreading. This plant looks OK, but a little "quarantine" is good practice if you can manage it.
