If the bulbs are hard, they are not rotten and are OK. These bulbs do not have the look of rotten brown bulbs in your photo.

There are three green hard pBs wall with the look of old pBs, the other three are brown and rotten. Plus the whole plant has one leaf. There isn't a single 'fresh' pB.

PS, thanks for the Cymbidium repotting advice you sent me so long ago! I used it the other day, and it worked fine!
