I only keep them out of bright light if they're recovering from root rot or some other malady. If the roots are healthy, and the plant is strong no reason you can't put it right back where it came from. BTW these guys don't like their foliage misted. You'll develop little black spots on the leaves. Misting the root zone is OK.

Sorry I didn't see your question before. I usually wait a few days, 4 or 5. I really just do it as a precaution to give it an adjustment time. It probably doesn't matter, like Terri said.

Wonderful!!! I should be getting my pots either Monday or Tuesday so I should be able to get the plant repotted soon. I think that I need to reduce the amount of direct sun that it's getting because some of the leaves are taking on a reddish hue.

I just repotted my Miltassia today!!!! It was so root bound that I just stared at the jumbled mess for a while...

It took me a little to get all of the medium out it was so packed in. But now it's in the new pot and has all sorts of new growth that I'm hoping will be okay!

I had to lash the pseudobulbs to the stakes because it was a little floppy and trying to fall over!

I'll probably post some new pictures up in the comming weeks as it gets itself established.

Good going, can't wait to see the pictures. They like to be held together so they aren't floppy, so you did very well.
