Crown Rot Help

I had an orchid get crown rot and the main crown died, but there are two healthy smaller plants on each side of the crown that are fine. The roots look great. Should I separate the two plants and pot them separately or keep them together as one plant?

If you're talking phalaenopsis, you may be able to do that, but it's also possible that they are still sharing part of the original plant's mass and root system, so it might be worth leaving them as-is.

I guess I will look at it closely next time I repot it to see how connected the two smaller plants are. Any idea how it will create a stem and flowers if I keep them both connected? Thanks!

Each new plant can produce spikes and flowers just as the mother plant did. If you leave them together, you can get a much nicer display than if you try to separate them. At least until the babies are much bigger, leave them alone for sure. They are getting their strength from the mother plant - it is still alive
and photosynthesizing, just not growing any more.
