Default Care advice needed for new Orchid, please.

First & foremost, can somebody please confirm this is a mini' Orchid?

It's about 9in tall & I've just been given it.

I've got some "Cactus Focus" Succulent Fertiliser here, and I wonder, is it suitable for this plant or will it harm it? If it's OK, how often should I feed this with water?

If anybody can please offer good advice on the best way & are location indoors to nurture this plant I'd be very grateful.

What you have there is a phalaenopsis. Yes, it is an orchid. Whether it is a true miniature or an immature plant that has been forced into bloom, I cannot say. Time will tell.

The first thing I can recommend is that you remove it from that decorative pot and inspect the plastic one that it is potted in. If it doesn't have drainage, remove it from the pot and place it in one that does (or poke some holes). Orchids do much of their gas exchange through their roots, and if they are stifled by too much water and poor drainage, they suffocate and die - this is the most common way new growers kill orchids.

I cannot answer your fertilizer question, as I don't know anything about that product, but fertilizer is way down the plant's priorities, so don't worry about it for now. More harm can be done by overfeeding than by underfeeding.
