Default 2 New Orchids: Bc. "Yellow Bird" & Bllra. "Hilo Sparkle"

I had to get a new pot to replace one that broke, so that meant I had to go to the nursery which meant that, of course, I had to get a new orchid or two. That's how this works, right?

The Beallara has two spikes, and the pbulbs are nice and plump. Does it look like it needs less light? Is that too yellow-green?

The Yellow Bird has three new growths! I look forward to it getting bigger!

Of course that's how it works. You clearly needed more orchids...

In the case of the Beallara, if it is in spike, it was getting the right amount of light... A lot of the Oncidium tribe orchids are on the yellowish side when they are happy. Some are even quite yellow when healthy, and bloom well.

I got my Yellow Bird less than a year ago and it has probably doubled in size. That thing is growing like a weed. Has two spikes pushing right now, and had three failed spikes before that. It's becoming my favorite

That's good to know! I'm excited to watch it grow!
