The Beallara has two spikes, and the pbulbs are nice and plump. Does it look like it needs less light? Is that too yellow-green?

Of course that's how it works.
You clearly needed more orchids...
In the case of the Beallara, if it is in spike, it was getting the right amount of light... A lot of the Oncidium tribe orchids are on the yellowish side when they are happy. Some are even quite yellow when healthy, and bloom well.
