Default How Many Pseudobulbs is Considered Blooming Size?

I've bought a couple different orchids in the past from vendors as seedlings and some have lived with me for 3-4 years at this point. One of them is a Cattleya though I'm not sure what type with about 5 or 6 pbulbs and another is a small Renanthera I just got this fall. The renanthera is still relatively small and I know it doesn't grow pbulbs but just wondering how "big" these guys need to be before they're considered blooming size? I also have some small bulbos that I'm not sure how big need to get first

That's kind of a How many dogs does it take to change a light bulb question.

If you want a good response, ya need to be a bit more specific that a Cattleya or a Bulbo.

I'm not sure what the Cattleya is, as it hasn't bloomed yet, but I do have a bulbophyllum macranthum and bulbophyllum sumatranum. I just didn't know if there was a standard size for seedlings or not.

It makes a difference for renanthera also. Some of them are very large, but I have a Renanthera monachica that bloomed when it was less than 8 inches tall.

Hey! That's still better than posting a picture of a lily and asking us what kind of orchid they're dealing with!
