I can still supply replacement filters and membranes (I have another supplier for those), but the change in "business policies" by my historically primary supplier are forcing me out of the systems part of the business.
Here's an example:
A customer in Idaho place a $50 order. In "the old days", that drop-shipment would have totaled $43, so I would have made $7 for my troubles.
Now, however, because they add Idaho sales tax and nearly triple the UPS freight cost, that would have raised it to $72. I had them ship it to me instead, as I have a tax exemption. Because of their freight charges to me, after paying to ship it to the customer, I still ended up losing $8.
