I just bought 3 dwarf bananas from Ray, along with Quantum Total probiotic for deflasking and OrganiShield sucrose pesticide. The plants are much larger than I expected (though still dwarf bananas.) Haven't tried the pesticide yet.

We have a native cottony scale that attacks prickly pears, and can kill them by covering the whole plant like a flocked Christmas tree. I'm going to see how it does against that.
