Is joining the AOS from Europe worth it?

Hi guys! As the title implies, I live in Europe and I am pondering whether I should join the AOS and what benefits do I still get, and also maybe get information from somebody in my same situation.

The thing is in Europe there's not really something as big as the AOS, as far as I know. And since most of the orchid hobby and nurseries are around the Netherlands and Germany most information is in languages I don't understand.

There are a lot of cultural articles and videos available to members only. I don't recall whether there is an option for electronic delivery of the magazine. International mailing of periodicals from the US is ridiculously expensive.

Theres a discount on "online magazine only" so you can access the content online. It's obviously not the same, but you know.

The thing is I think I miss out on all the discounts and I don't know if I can get the book that's included, but I am very interested in it. Maybe there's an electronic version of it?
