too much humidity??
Default too much humidity??

This must be an odd question, it's usually the other way around. The humidistat on my humidifier is not working properly, and more often than not I find my humidity level hovering between 90-99%. Is this detrimental to my orchids?

I doubt it, although it can't be good for your windows. That's my constant fight.

I would try to be sure I have air circulating around them with that high of humidity, which I'm sure you do. Not sure why, but it just feels like still air and high humidity might be an issue. Moving air is important regardless.

I think your orchids would love it (with a circulation fan), your home and goods might not.
