Default This is interesting

I bought this on 3-13-08. One of the nine buds were opened when purchased. It now has four. One of the blooms has two "lips". Thought i'd share, I'd never seen this before. It's label is (Cdbrs.) "Fangtastic Bob Henley".

I looked it up on the RHS registry and found Brassia Fangtastic Bob Henley = Brassis Rex x Brassidium Kenneth Bivin
Brassidium (Brsdm.) = Brassia x Oncidium
I looked up Cdbrs. in the Orchid Genera and Abbreviations site and didn't come up with this abbreviation .. It might be something new that I am unfamiliar with it ..

Nice I like this type of flower and I really like the one with the double lip. It probably will never do it again.

Two Lips? It is kind of hard to kiss with only one! Muah.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. After looking at the tag closer, It appears that the O had been rubbed making it look like a C. Odbrs.
