A lot going on here. In this picture 6 new roots at the same time and on the back of the plant another 4.
Not a crazy amount of roots, but roots going crazy on this Neofinetia (Vanda) falcata Shutenno Pink.

Maxillaria variabilis
Got it this way from the nursery. Repotted it right away. I wanted to use a skewer, couldn't get it in the bark or what ever mix was used. It's one solid mass of roots.
I left the roots alone and only used a bigger pot with a mix that works for me (= bark with some sphagnum).

How about some mini representation? A couple mounted seedlings of Dendrobium cyanocentrum. I also just gave them a KelPak bath so they may be making even more soon.. Cant wait for these blooms. I actually don't know what form they are!

it hasnt bloomed so I guess its not blooming sized yet. 8 new growths this year so there is opportunity. To trim the plant, I cut off a few back bulbs. It grew 2 more new ones.
I just put it back into the clay pot and let it do what its doing. Going to be a nice houseplant pretty soon
