i find more and more that for Catt family orchids, the pots are JUST for balance and stability.....they have no use for them

Just want to share my little eureka moment. Yes sad me guiding a root into a vase is my eureka moment lol but this root had other idea's and wanted to grow out into the wide open. Now it's safely where it should be.

It's strong too. You know how weeds sometimes manage to break through concrete pathways? With this one I will have to watch out it doesn't try to crack my vase
