Smile Miltonia has new growth but NO pseudobulbs?

Hi everyone, My question is about my miltonia. I got the plant last summer 2016 and it still appears healthy. It had one pseudobulb, an old spike and what looked like 2 new growths to me when I got it. Now Jan. 2017, the old pseudobulb still looks fine, the leaves look good BUT the 2 new growths do not have any pseudobulbs at the base. What is the deal with her???? Are they so growing that it takes months and months for pseudobulbs to appear?? As always thank you for your thoughts and help.

You'll notice the pbulbs as the new growth matures. At first stages it seems just small leaves but, as they grow, the its base starts to swell to form a pbulb.

They take a long while to get big and fat.

Thank you! I have noticed the bases are kind of chubby but I was worried that I was doing something wrong! My first miltonia.

IF you have a large almost mature growth with no Bulb be on the look out for a SPIKE!!! I have 3 of these plants one I have had for 3 years now or almost 3 years. They always send spikes off of new growth that does not have a bulb. Once the Bulb forms slim chance of getting a spike from it.

So thats awesome keep up the good work. Many people have a hard time with these orchids.
