I have an un-named Zygo hybrid that's been with me for around 4-5 years. It always blooms every spring. Zygopetalums grow into specimen size after about a couple years. They're forgiving of overwatering and are temperature tolerant. Can be grown as an epiphyte, terrestrial, or lithophyte. Doesn't go into shock easily when repotted or transplanted. And most of all the flowers are a little over an inch, showy, and fragrant! Not to mention...there's more than one flower per spike!!!
