Plant Polish

Hi all. Iv'e got a problem with my cat eating the leaves on several of my Orchids/Houseplants. She doesn't seem to attack them after they are sprayed with "Green Glow" Plant Polish. My question is, will this clog the pores in the foliage or magnify the rays from the sun, or hurt the plant in any way?
