humidifier replacment

Greetings all, first post to a blog..
orchid addict since 1972 with now a varied collection in a sunroom/greenhouse. (~10x18 feet).
my hydrofogger is ready for a new motor and full rebuild. Question is, is the Aquafog HydroSS really that much quieter? a rebuild is ~$120 and an upgrade is, well, you know....anyone have exposure to both units and can comment on both noise level and function? (the hydrofogger is study, reliable and works VERY well, but noisy....
