Need to know about this seed pod!!!?

Hey check this out ya'll I was in a store and happened to be lookin at orchids with my 3 year old niece and she happend to pull off a seed pod and i was wondering what should i do with it and is it mature yet ?? And how do i store this??

It is a seed pod from this orchid!!

I'd say too new. Catts tend to get a bit yellowish before they do well with greenpod. Also, seeing you don't know the male parent, it could be awaste of time and money.
Or not. You certainly couldn't name it.

I have the mother of the plants name because I went back to the store and checked it was.....

Knowing only the mother means you can't register a name, but it could be a worthwhile cross. If it's not too green you might get some good ones for cutflowers or general home grower. Remember you have an equal or better chance of getting nothing good.
