fertilizing question

I would fertilize the ones making new growths. The ones with buds already did almost all their cell divisions and all that is left is to pump water in and expand, so they don't need much fertilizer now.

Be very careful, that way lies madness. The big risk is, that you think you are helping, but the salts burn the roots.
