orchid for plant hat.
I have been fiddling around with growing tillandsia on a hat for almost a year now. I am toying the idea of adding an orchid. Any suggestions?
Needs to be...
Small and compact...this includes bloom spike.
Not brittle or otherwise easily damaged by handling.
Prefers lots of sun, dry conditions, and breeze. I can shade it somewhat under tillandsia and hat is sprayed down frequently.
Thoughts?

Thanks all for the suggestions!
I looked up schoenorchis it looks like a possibility . Neo perhaps. Probably mount w moss on a tiny plaque.
Id be willing to go a bit bigger if necessary...say 6 inches or so.

Something inexpensive would be nice too. A cursory look suggests schoenorchis to be fairly uncommon.
Would any nw orchids fit the bill?

Dockrillia rigida may be a good bet as well. Mine sits directly in front of a fan and about 2-3 inches from some pretty strong lights and it grows and blooms constantly.

I would stay away from Schoenorchis fragrans. The best Vanda growers I know still lose this plant a lot.
I have had a couple and flowered them a couple of times but never kept one over three years.even with constant pampering.
Vanda (Neolfinita) falcata would be a better choice.

Thoughts on the following?
Leptotes bicolor
Sarcochilus ceciliae
Dockrillia rigida is sure interesting! Any thoughts on Dockrillia striolatum?
