Even though I would like to try mychorrizae someday, I do use trichoderma atroviride and harzianum. They act in the same way mychorrizae forms 1 with the root structure and helps the plant achieve nutrients and moisture, but unlike mychorrizae, it's a parasitic fungus. (it doesn't parasitize the plant "host", but parasitizes negative fungi. I use it on carnivorous plants(except sundews because they react adversely to the extra nutients gathered by the trich) and house plants. I am yet to make an orchid a trichoderma friend, but I want to try it
