Default Thanks again

Thank you for your replies , great help to a new orchid grower. I'm thinking of using my other hobby of designing and making objects in Tiffany style stained glass , to enhance a few orchid pots for myself and the odd one for friends. The only thing I worry about is the solder as it is 60 % lead. I have some pure Bees Wax and am thinking of it as a barrier to coat the entire pot. Or many coats perhaps. Aquarium silicone may also work. Time for a few experiments.
Here are some images of the kind of things I make.
Thanks
Steve
p.s. I added my flicker image link, I made about 1900 images a few months ago , just for fun mostly. If anyone can think of a use for them let me know. They tend to be in blocks of colour, so it takes awhile to go through them , be warned
p.p.s. If the pot idea needs to move to another section , please move it. I'll try and make a couple of pots this week

Default Thank you

Thank you for the name and image. Looking back in my history web search , the first time I searched this tag name it was "Fdk. After Dark ‘SVO Amazing' x Ctsm. Mark Dimmitt" without the Ed Wise . My problem is I put the tag in my pocket and the name rubbed off , very silly of me I know. The tag was not a SVO tag it was a hand written one .I'm wondering now if the Ed Wise part of the name is correct or if it makes it another hybrid.
I also noticed on the image it says "Mormodia Painted Desert SVO x Ctsm Mark Dimitt 'Ed Wise'". I'll try and find the Orchid Society member who sold it at the NCOS auction.
Thanks
Steve

Default naming

if indeed you purchased this crossing then it's registered name is Fredclarkeara Midnight Sky
When it flowers you can add your own clonal name
The plant will flower very shortly after the new bulb is half grown emerging from the bottom of the growth
