ha ha sorry... I'm new. How to prepare a flask with my agar. Is there a page here with step by step instructions starting with putting everything together to transplanting into a more permanent home?

...and some tipps from my time growing in-vitro in the lab:
before starting, spray your work place with alcohol 2 or 3 times (this helps to reduce contaminations).
when flasking, it is a good advice to keep a open flame near the flasks (does not need to touch them). It helps to kill some germs.

Take a look at the "Article Comment" and "Propagation" sections for more information about orchid sowing/propagating etc...
If you are a brand new flasker: no scale, no pH meter, no acid/base solution to adjust pH, etc ... then you need to buy a commercial media such as seed sowing media from Phytotech. The media is ready to prepare without require pH meter, scale, sugar, hormone, fertilizer, agar and you have much chance to get successful. Cheers.

Every time ive prepared medium the ph ended up fine without needing any correction. Water, sugar, agar, fertiliser and striking hormone must all be fairly neutral. And its easy enough to measure amounts without needing a scale.

What do you mean pH ended up fine: 7, 8, 9, 6, 5, 4? You don't have a scale how can you prepare a solution of 2mg/L NAA + 0.2 mg/L BA ? Just kidding, as long as your medium work for you then who care!!? right?!!!

You're right, you can't have that much control without those things, if you wanted 100% success from the start it might not be as easy, just i remember once when i actually testing the pH of my mix, it was as required by the instructions i was reading. Whether that was 7 or what i can't remember. For the hormones i just drop a couple of drops in and it seems to do OK.
