Statistically, no correlation can be observed between these two facts .
Thousands and thousands of Catts are infected with different viruses. However, these keikis are extremely rare.
(It's more or less like saying that people that have had a cold in the last two years are more likely to be run over by a train, because my neighbour was run over by a train when he had a cold.)
Botanically, I can't see any reason to suspect that these two facts may be related.
In fact, the development of a keiki is the direct result of the activity of the meristem. But the meristem is the part of the plant that is less likely to carry viruses (for many reasons:
