Clay saucer for a windowsill or window box planter? Might be an out of season item right now.

I find it astounding that a company that makes these heating mats doesn't also make the trays to go with them. Or heated trays. What a missed opportunity!

I believe that RePotMe has humidity trays that are 20" by 6". Would that be too wide for your sill?

you could use eggcrate positioned on 'stands' and then have the orchid pots in individual saucers...

I think we have some of the 6" x 20" humidity trays in the greenhouse. I will check on Wednesday.

The windowsill heat mats are intended for pots to sit directly on it, with the pot's tray or not. Anything you put between the mat and the pot that creates an air space defeats the purpose...

Smile Thanks for the info

Ray - I was wondering if you could put plant pots directly on the matt. Thanks for the info that they are designed
for that.
Everyone else - Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately
my window sill is only 31/2'' wide. So most window sill trays will be to wide.

Look at herb kits or under 'trays for windowsill herbs'. In the past, I grew my herbs on the windowsill and I had a narrow tray for all my little pots. It was pretty long ago but growing herbs on a windowsill is still popular.

I was wondering if the single trays you put silverware or knives in would be the correct size. They fit nicely in the kitchen drawers and may fit in the window sill.

Found a site for you...plastecproducts.com.Scroll down to bottom and click on "saucers". The oval shapes are what I have but cannot find them in stores easily. Hope this helps!
