paph question
Default paph question

ok, so i just recently bought a couple of paph orchids one of which i pollinated. shortly after pollination the whole plant stared to die off, i found out that it was rot and that there was only half of one root left. i re potted and now it is doing better and the seed pod is growing. my question is, should i cut the seed pod to save energy so the plant can grow or can i leave the pod? this is my time pollinating a paph and i really don't want to lose it! please help

Being "pregnant" is a big stress on the plant.

Leave the capsule and you'll likely lose it and the plant.

Chop away.
