Anyone here use Cal-Mag Plus? How much do you use per gallon?

Thanks Bunches!

Yep...I recently started using it too. I have Botanicare's Cal-Mag Plus. I started having some issues directly related to Ca deficiency...even though it's in my fert and water.

I am using it at every watering right now (summer- active growth time) at the rate of 1 tsp/gal of water. I'm already seeing a reverse of some of my noted issues. My plants are outside for the summer so it's not unusual for me to be watering some of them daily. Especially the mounted orchids. If Mother Nature does the watering for me then they don't get the fert or Ca/Mg...which means they do get frequent "flushing".

Thank you very much for your responses! I think I'll try it. Seeing some signs of deficiency in Cats and don't like the way gypsum and/or lime look in my media!

Hi.

Well, this thread has inspired me to try it! Tho my plants show no signs of deficiency, why not?

Course, I already ingest Cal Citrate/magnesium/D in proper balance, as a supplement every day.

Must be one reason, while I am small, both my leaves and roots are very healthy.....and, none of my pseuobulbs are blind.

I've been using it recently too at 1 tsp./gallon of water. I was having what could be deficiency problems and hope this can put a stop to it. I don't do it with every watering but about 2 or 3 times a month.

I bought a quart of it so I can safely assume this is going to last awhile! Thank you! Let us know if you see a change in your conditions.

Delighted you enjoyed it!

I should also share, I drink only one mug of coffee a day (tho I do grind the beans); re the energy, I was born this way; has an upside and a downside.

But I do always find the funny in the midst of the serious. I would not be without both!

But still can't find the funny when I either kill or loose an orchid.
