Hi Betty! "Long time no talk with"
I hope you and yours are well and things are good for you!
I think of you often and sometimes feel guilty because I'm wondering if I'm the one who slipped up and failed to e-mail you.
I'm really enjoying my/your Encyclia.....thanks! I repotted it this last Spring, so fingers crossed that it will continue to grow well.
Good luck with making more room in your greenhouse! Hey, you know where to send a few....as long as nothing is a large Vanda.
(Totally kidding, my gh is probably in about the same shape as yours)
Take care!

Thank you very much and I will pass your compliment on to Ms. Vanda.
She has been easy to care for...has not demanded any additional attention than my other orchids and bloomed nicely many times.
Your thought about a botanical garden is a good idea, but I didn't know how to reach one in my state. Since there are no orchid societies in the area, I couldn't figure out to contact anyone.
Thanks for your reply!

Thank you...it was an easy grower.
I wish you had room, too...I know that you would have given it a wonderful home!
There is a small local college close to where I live, but I was leary to offer it to them. They do have a "plant area" (very small conservatory), but I don't think they have orchids so I was afraid that they wouldn't know how to care for it as well as necessary.
Anyway, I wanted to offer it to our board 1st because all of you have been extremely helpful to me over the years.
Take care...and thanks for your reply,
Vicki

I wish I had room, but will have to pass as well. I am confident you will find it a good home. If not with a member of orchidboard, I bet that a university conservatory would love to have it.
