a back from the dead success story! Female
Talking a back from the dead success story!

This is my oncidium now NOID after my moms tiny tornado of a great nephew came and un plucked their sticks. Well this started back october of '13 (wowza that feels weird!) But when my oncids were sitting in what was a shady portion of my little greenhouse the on coming time change and sun direction changed that into one of the brightest spots of the whole green house.

Needless to say I lost quite a lot of the bulbs on several plants due to severe burning...oy vay. So I decided to clean this one bulb up and do an experiment. I had to chop off the icky looking portion for what was fear of rot. It had very little to no roots as well. I quite honestly left it in my betta bowl w high humidity and wanted to see if the bulb had enough juice in it to put out a baby plant. I honestly have left it all alone and really basically ignored it til today whwn manuvering plants and found this little guy!! It now has 3 roots and 1 large bulb growth and soon 1 more growth!! Hurray! Now if I am ever to get it to bloom I may figure out what the heck it may be out of all my little sticks I have...
