I have a Thunia marshalliana which is growing well this year and I'm hoping might make it on to the show bench at my next orchid meeting
. I have temporary stakes on the new leads to keep them straight so ignore the coloured twist ties, all that will be replaced with inconspicuous stuff in the next few weeks but I'm not sure what to do with the ugly old leads? Will removing them damage the plants chances of growing well next season or will it just use this years leads? They are still quite green and fleshy but the leaves have died off them as shown in the pics below.
