Default this is a sign of a sick catasetum!!

Okay this is my catasetum sanguineum patrick orchid that I piad 46.00 dollars for from shermantp orchids on ebay. This is not the orchid from the website! I originally lost this orchid to a higher bidder. I thought that this was from the original listing after I got the email stating thatbi would win this item for the same price as my highest bid. Yeah not!

The phulbs are not the same plant. It cam in wet moss and paper the paper was molding, the phulbs are not connected. Looks like there are not going to be any healthy roots. And 2 of the biggest phulbs are ROTTING!! MAN I am ticked. I have already sent the email back to sherman tp about this orchid because I refuse to keep it. Pictures are attached

This seller usually has steller plants in fact I received 2 of my catasetum and 2 or 3 other plants from them and they were great...this one sucks....pardon the language but man I am still ticked this is not worth 46 dollars no where near.

I totally agree with you, it's definitely not worth 46$. Since the seller usually has good plants, I bet they are keen to keep their customers happy. Let us know how it unfolds.

Dave is an honest seller and I'm sure he'll make it right if given the chance. He normally responds fairly quickly to any questions or concerns.

@Nikik I know thst is why I was so shocked they would send this out!! Its deplorable!! I mean you could see the mold on the newspapers on the outside...and they were bone dry inside and the roots were like rotted/dried out.

I'm so sorry that this happened. I know you were really excited about this spooky looking one. Most of his plants look impeccable and I'm surprised that he sent this one on to you after receiving it this way.

like everyone else I am sure that he will either refund or replace. In the meantime if that dark area is not mushy, you may be able to save it. Let it go dormant....

Even the phulb itself is odd and mishaped...im not sure what is up with these phulbs but my hands got disinfected and I am now wearing gloves while dealing with the bifalce I also got from them just to make sure that I will not give possible infection to my other orchids that need fed and watered today.
