Even the phulb itself is odd and mishaped...im not sure what is up with these phulbs but my hands got physaned and I am now wearing gloves while dealing with the bifalce I also got from them just to make sure that I will not give possible infection to my other orchids that need fed and watered today.
dunk everything in hydrogen peroxide. It works wonders.

@OrchidsAreFun, I am not even going to try...its going to have to go back to the seller. I would rather not have a plant and get my 46 dollars back and try to get one or two HEALTHY catasetums from big oak orchids....

I agree with others that he should have a chance to make things right. Sometimes bad things happen in transit. The plant is clearly bad, & if you can send these pics to him, maybe he will give you a refund without the hassle of returning it.

It might be salvageable, but at $46 "salvage" is not what you paid for.

don't be too quick in giving a negative feedback until you communicated with the seller: they receive a lot of emails so wait for your turn to be replied....I am sure the plant will be replaced or your money returned....I have dealt with your seller many times before and he even gives me free orchid plants when he feels like it....

Wow @Bud that is awesome. Yeah my temper really got the best of me after a really psychotic week this week. So I guess ebay saved me on that one.

You really should have communicated with the seller before even posting here. I think its a bit unfair to publicly air your complaint before giving them a chance to make it right. Just good manners.

I know they are that is why I was shocked...like what the what this thing looks aweful. Im surprised they even bought it themselves with out checking it out. I have bought 2 catesetum alone from them and a couple of other plants. And when I posted on here it was not to just bash the seller it was making sure that what I was seeing was as bad as I felt it was. Also I was shocked again by what I saw. I am sure they will hopefully reinburse me or send me a healthy replacement.

To make a little extra money for running around with friends I do a lot of baking, special occasion cakes and lots of cookies. I also do embroidery work by hand baby blankets, bibs etc.... I make ESPECIALLY sure that what I send out is worth what I am charging if not I re do it or lower the cost. If I were the seller of this plant I would not have sold it. PERIOD! this plant in my estimation is a cake burnt beyond recognition.

Sorry that is the best way for me to explain it. In my odd terms in things that I do.

@Orchid whisperer I agree. It not even the plant in the picture the one they show is of one in full winter rest around id say 6+inches tall. Thats why I am still not able to Completly wrap my head around it.

I totally agree with Bud, try to work with them, honest sellers are standing behind their plants. I had some long email exchange with the seller from Thailand, the Bulbophyllums are really not good from that International order, everything else is doing fine, but Bulbos, and after some 2 hours communication we actually agreed and he is refunding me for all sick/dead ones, so I am pleased, he was nice at the end (not so much with his first email). It is worthy to try work out the things first, hope you will get refund:-)

of course you must get a refund or replacement.
I am saying that you can still try and save the plant as its not a lost cause.
