Okay....I am not sure if this is a good thing or not but my b little star *lady of the night* has decided to throw off 2 spikes I noticed today....when I bought it it had previously bloomed. So why is it throwing spikes when here it is almost november?
It has lots and lots of new roots shooting off I counted at least 20....
Is this the type of plant that needs cooler nights to spike because the last 3 weeks we have been having definitive cooler weather....lows in low 50*s....with highs in the 90*s....im slightly confused by this lol!!! It had just fjnished blooming when I got it....
Hi Kindra
no worries, this orchid blooms now for so many people! I see it in Florida orchid growers group every day! You should be happy, this will be awesome once it opens, I hope for my 2 to shoot some spikes soon too, I fed them good over the summer:-)

Ohhh, yes, as I read it can bloom definitely multiple times a year!
Whew I was afraid!!! because we are getting cold weather. I have only had this 4 maybe 2 2 4 months I was afraid maybe this was a last ditch effort by the plant lol!! also you have A LOT warmer weather then I ever thought about having this time of year. Lol!
