I spoke to a judge at out Orchid Show yesterday about my "impossible" cross. His friend in Florida ( unfortunately now passed away ) had remarked that with a couple of crosses he made - he couldn't remember the intergenerics - he got germination a couple of times. The problem was that the plants never bloomed out ! That is a possible complication I hadn't thought of and hadn't been mentioned to me before.
Only time will tell with this one but there are a number of exciting outcomes.
