Thanks for all the input guys, the vendor said that he can sell me the flask next year at the WOC in Sandton. A long wait, but this way I can already set up a terrarium and get the humidity thing right before I bring my babies home. I'll keep you guys updated and soon I'll start posting on the preparation of their new home...

If you think $50 is too much then you should look for someone to go in on the flask with you. You keep half and the other person keeps half. You can learn from each other what works and what does not. I just paid ~$30 for a flask of epi criniferum, and got ore than 20 plants outta it. If half survive I will make the money from the flask back and then some, that is if I decide to sell. its not easy parting with my chids

You inspired me to buy a flask. I bought a 50 gallon container today from home depot that I will put under the growing are where I plan to put the seedlings. I will fill it with water add some guppies in, maybe some water lettuce. It will already be in the most humid part of my yard and this will make it extra humid. This is the area where I grow my pleurothallids. I also have a red mangrove tree growing in a container. Its still too small to provide any kind of shade for the plants but hopefully when it grows it would make a nice environment for the little guys. Good luck with your seedlings

I purchased a mini flask 2 years ago it had 10 to 15 tiny seedlings in it. Did not deflask them for about 8 months.
Most dwindled rapidly but I still have 2 left and although they are only about a half inch long they are growing.
I have them on a bare chunk of osmunda. I live in Naples Florida and it is native to my area. As a matter of fact I just went to see the Super Ghost in bloom 2 weeks ago and it had a record 14 flowers on it. A truly amazing sight.
