This beautiful cattleya has been blooming on the back porch with morning sunshine for 6 weeks, and is still sending out new bloom stalks. It's my favorite orchid.Cattleya Crystelle Smith in Bloom-imageuploadedbytapatalk1372805039-491095-jpg

Nice. My wife is a fan of Crystelle Smith, too. I think 'Aileen' is the clone she has. But there are a lot of very pretty ones.

It had 14 blooms at one time which lasted about 3 or 4 weeks, but is now again putting out many more new spikes with 3 to 5 flowers on each. Potted in a wooden basket with almost nothing except roots. I run water over it with the hose every day or two and fertilize by dipping the basket in weak fertilizer every couple weeks. Gets morning sun.

Beautiful! I've always liked Crystelle Smith. Your's has a lot more red on the lip than mine. I would love to get one like that.
