Hello everyone -
I haven't been online for sometime as I have been assisting my Dad and he doesn't have internet access -
Thought I would let you know that I (finally) located some pics dating back to 1915 -1916 in the Archives of Florida State, taken by J. Kunkel Small; they are of early orchid collecting - basically wagon loads of orchids, bromeliads and ferns taken from the wild to ship to early growers. I had run across these in another site and then could not locate them again - well, I finally did. They are interesting, even if they are disturbing by today's understanding. But as another member pointed out, this was a different time and different attitude concerning wildlife. I posted them in the Photography section and thought you might like to see them.
