I'm not an orchid hoarder. I've only got 8 plants, alright? and so what if I have about 5 keiki and a seedpod growing? it's no big deal that I've acquired all of these plants since fall last year. I tells ya, I'm NOT a hoarder!

Ah, now I see why cats eat orchids!
I limit where I can keep my plants and so I must get rid of plants/orchids to make room for new ones. I do admit that I have too many plants....

I don't have enough yet. I can still care for all my orchids too easily, I need more. I have 30 or so and a few compots that I'll grow to blooming. Thanks for sharing those pictures RJSquirrel. Let's see some more from everyone!

By the way, the indoor shot of yours, do they all get enough light being where they are??
I mean apparently they all look good. You must have a glass ceiling or the plants need very little light?

I have over 200 but I keep the shadehouse organized. A lot of them are seedlings that were from flask so they don't take up too much room. I just cleared the space for the new flasks coming.
I also re-arrange on a regular basis and anything that is not thriving after 3 years gets re-homed either in trade or gift to someone with better growing conditions.

And I thought I had too many hahaha
I had 6, one sprouted off two keikis at the same times, recently potted those but I also gave one away so I'm at 7 now.

Hubby jokes that he can't pick up his drink from the table without me putting an orchid there
It's not actually true, but all windowledges are packed with them, as is the mantlepiece and the base of the fireplace, and a table near the living room window. Some of them are due to go out to the greenhouse for the summer, but I'm going to have to make more space out there as all the tables out there are already full of ones that wintered out there
