This is my first thought too! Clowesia Rebecca Tyson Northen and Gongora escobariana are a close second.

HMMM, I would have to say that my most favorite orchid for fragrance is, Oncidium Heaven Sent 'Redolence'.
To me it smell just like a chocolate cup-cake. Whatever it may smell like to you, The cocoa aroma is most dominant for sure and will have you returning often for another taste.

Well right now one of my Gaskelliana is blooming with 5 flowers and it fills the whole GH and then some. Wonderful fragrance. Like a busload of old ladies going out to the casino for the night.

Hands down the answer is Neofinetia falcata! You can't beat it, it's absolutely amazing!!
Tied for second are Sedireas and Cattleyas that smell citrusy.
Fun fact about Sedirea: Sedirea japonica was originally placed in the genus Aerides as Aerides japnicum; when they removed it from that genus, they gave it its own genus, Sedirea. Sedirea is Aerides spelled backwards!

Less fun fact. And then they took its genus away. Sedirea is now a Phalaenopsis.
Saw it posted a few places and it's in print in the July Orchids magazine (p. 439)

Cypripedium candidum has a great fragrance. It smells like spiced cider or eggnog or something.
