Rooting Hormone

I have a question ! Does anyone use a rooting hormone on a regular biases , like monthly on there orchid plants I was told you can do this and help out your plants to get more roots and more flowers?
i use a grow fertilizer and a blooming fertilizer I switch between the 2 of them weekly then once a month just use water.
What do you all think of the rooting hormone?
