I've only managed to rot orchids in sphag n bag. However, I agree with Sonya. If there are no roots the plant cannot possibly support that many leaves so it is dropping them. You may get down to 1 or 2 leaves before it decides to grow roots. Good luck!

Hi isurus79 yes I think the media was dry in that pic I forgot to spray it with some water in the morning and did not remember until it was to late in the day
No I have not soaked it in anything I plan to go to a orchid show this weekend and was going to pick up some super thive

If the bagging doesn't work for you, you can try using tupperware or an unused salad bowl. Even a small clear plastic Rubbermaid type container big enough to house the Phal would do.

So would I would I just put the orchid in the salad bowl with no bag over it?

No bag. Just saran wrap the bowl and punch some holes in it. You can put a wet paper towel on the bottom, and then raise the orchid off the wet paper towel with something that will not absorb water.

You can essentially do the same thing by getting one of those small animal carrying cases sold at pet stores. They're inexpensive and they're easy to use.
No need to saran wrap this one. Just use a wet paper towel or wet newspaper on the bottom, and raise the orchid off the wet media.
