Default Desperate for a certain orchid, keiki paste on cut flowers?

I've been wanting a certain orchid desperately, dendrobium sonia but i can't seem to find it anywhere. I was thinking as last resort perhaps.. if i order a bouquet of those flowers which of course are everywhere! maybe i could use keiki paste on all of them and see what happens? I heard the flowers are long lasting so who knows...

What about a NOID?
My local stores gets in giant batches of dendrobiums that look exactly like sonia.
They most likely are sonia, but come with out a tag.

Here's one vendor. ( A keiki would take YEARS to grow and bloom!)

Ornamental Orchids - Dendrobium Sonia, Dendrobium White, Dendrobium Burana Jade and Dendrobium Blue Bird Distributor & Wholesaler from New Delhi, India

Some more.
Orchid of the Week: Dendrobium Sonia | Brooklyn Orchids

I followed the links provided and found they all led to CUT orchid sprays, not the plant. I started looking for orchid suppliers for Sonia, and it's odd --- I can't find any, no matter how prevalent the color and variety is - I did locate the following supplier that you might contact about a "Sonia" - it looks like they have it or one similar in their inventory -
Hawaii Floral Products - Welcome
Or maybe
Kalapana Tropicals
That particular dendrobium hybrid is grown by the TONS in Thailand - and there are suppliers advertising plants, but I don't know about required certificates, etc. for shipping from there.
I had to search google with keywords "dendrobium hawaii orchid plants" to get what I got - not an easy find.
According to another member in a previous thread, this is a Dendrobium phalaenopsis variety not a cross of the two; I am glad they caught and informed me of that.
Best of luck finding one you like - they offered a lot of different color variations on their websites.! You will probably have to go with a "looks-like a Sonia" plant.
Steve

Mac's Orchids in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, pretty much specializes in dendrobium species orchids. They grow over 200 different types. Or check andy's orchids...in Encinitas, CA. Keep looking and I'm sure you'll find one soon.
