Default AOS membership questions

Just registered on Sunday with the AOS and print magazine for the $40 student membership. I ordered a calendar too and recieved the small discount. When will the first magazine come?

I've emailed the AOS to change an incorrect address; they fixed it and said that they need a copy of student picture ID (I assume from a college), but I'm in high school. Did I need to choose a different membership option? I emailed the AOS a few questions.

Thanks ahead of time for help!

Does Orchid Inn still give 5% off to AOS members? How do they verify membership? I can't find an acount number or anything when I login online.

AOS will send you a membership card in snail mail. which will identify you as a a member.

I don't know how long they take to process memberships requests. You can log into their website and get the Orchid magazine in multiple electronic forms. This is a new capability this year. So you might even be able to get January's and February's too.

A student is a student, whether in college or not. When I was in high school I photocopied my student ID and used that. Mind you, I graduated in 1998, but I doubt the requirements have changed!

No one here can can solve your issues. If you are doubtful about what is going on, call AOS. They will quickly resolve any issues. If your membership is currently active you can see the latest Orchids magazine on line and not have to wait for the hard copy.

Glad you joined. Good growing!
