I can't tell if the mix is bark + moss or not, but I would really down pot it, providing just enough space for the stalk and any roots that may be left, and pack it in just moss. Pack it really tight, and try to keep the plant warm. This has been the best method for me with getting new roots to emerge. Any additional humidity you can add will help, but try not to let the moss dry out completely. Right before it gets crispy, lightly water it.
